The essential first step! If you are new to the MAP Method, this foundational program will prepare your mind to be receptive to the instructions that are given during a session.
With MAP we neutralize painful emotions from past traumas, change limiting beliefs, negative thought patterns, self-defeating traits and behaviors, and more. The cumulative effect of multiple sessions improves mood and outlook first, then behaviors, and finally physical symptoms. For more information, take our free courses.
Allow half an hour to an hour each week to listen to the lesson and do the journal exercise. Allow 35 to 45 minutes for each MAP session. Ideally you will complete 3 sessions each week, if you are doing the program at the recommended pace.
This program was designed as a convenient, affordable, on-demand toolkit for those that are self-motivated. However, it cannot entirely replace live one-on-one MAP sessions with a practitioner. You may find additional live sessions beneficial. For those with a significant trauma history, more individual sessions may be needed.
Most people are successfully initiated to MAP and experience benefits from sessions. Those who do not may include those who are disconnected from their emotions. People who have natural gifts for MAP tend to be keenly aware of their emotions, highly sensitive or empathic, intuitive, creative or spiritual. A strong meditation or prayer practice offers advantages as well.
